The new addition to the family means that the space in the small wooden house is getting smaller and smaller. The shepherd's wagon is now intended to extend the usable living space. The ‘foundation’ is an old substructure from an agricultural vehicle. The wooden structure rests on it, creating a warm interior climate thanks to the light-coloured wood. In winter, the shepherd's wagon can be heated with the help of a small wood-burning stove. In summer, the openings create a strong link to the outside. In order to give the outsourced living function the necessary privacy, the shepherd's hut is hidden away at the other end of the property. Electricity and internet connections make it possible to live and work here independently of the house.
