About me

My name is Rieke and I was originally born in Berlin where I also studied Architecture at TU Berlin. For several years I have been fascinated by northern Europe in terms of architecture, landscape and social policy, as a result I spent two periods abroad during my studies at Aalto University (Helsinki) and Chalmers University (Gothenburg).

The training I received during my architectural education as well as the work experience I gained, strengthened my motivation to explore and actively shape the environment in which we live. Since then, I have been fascinated by the development of sustainable designs in connection with social concepts in the context of a constantly changing society and environment.

My strength lies in detailed work, model building and teamwork. The connection between nature and architecture is something I’m truly passionate about, and that interest extends to my free time as well. I’m happiest beeing outdoors, getting my hands dirty—whether it’s gardening, building, or just being out in nature. I’ve got a practical side and definitely a green thumb, so I’m always up for hands-on projects!
